The most common frustration that manifests in people regarding their home refers to the amount of things that they own and the constant desire to order and reduce this excess. 44% of people worldwide say they get a sense of relief when they clean out their home. Clutter and build-up of items such as mail and paperwork can lead to health issues for elderly people. This build-up of clutter can be a sign of depression but can also pose tripping hazards and sanitary concerns. Homerule solves this problem by being a service to help people declutter their homes. This project was fully conceived and researched by Katie. Final design and concept completed during a class project in 2019.
