This project’s goal was to support a non-profit business. I worked with Austin Creative Reuse—a resale shop for craft items. Research proved that the volunteers worked there because they had a passion for making things and teaching others how to do it. This project, Helping Hands, was meant to showcase how the voluneers teach, create and care. This project consists of a monthly/quarterly auction that will run in conjunction with a volunteer of the month. A selected volunteer will donate a piece of art. This will be auctioned off by silent auction. The proceeds will fund workshops in the store. How-to signage from that volunteer will supplement the auction. All materials used to make the signage and piece of art would be re-purposed from the store. This was a student project completed in 2018
